About Us

About Us

At Rock Maple Mountain, our maple products are just as nature intended them to be. From the land we harvest to the products we manufacture, every step of our process is intentional, and every decision is thoughtfully made.

The flavor of maple syrup is affected by many factors – soil, tree genetics, weather, sap collection, and processing techniques. With a licensed Professional Engineer as our master sugarmaker, our deep understanding of these factors allows us to truly refine the sugaring process – creating pure and flavorful maple products in an energy-efficient way.

The mountainside land we carefully chose to harvest has an abundance of beautiful, old growth rock maples kept healthy by sandy, moist, non-alkaline soil. And while pure maple syrup is a natural product with considerable variation in flavor and color, many manufacturers blend their syrup to get a predetermined color. At Rock Maple Mountain, we do not blend. We embrace these flavor and color variations, using a single barrel at a time – a craftsman approach similar to single barrel scotch or whiskey. Our syrup is certified organic, 100% pure with nothing added, and multi-filtered to ensure only the best in every bottle.

The quality of our maple products speaks for itself.  Our products are not only made with a love of sugaring that has been passed down for generations, but with an in-depth understanding of the production process and a sincere admiration and respect for what nature provides.

What Makes Rock Maple Different ?

Non-Blended

Many manufacturers blend their syrup to get a predetermined color, we use a single barrel craftsman approach (similar to single barrel scotch/whiskey). Our master sugarmaker hand selects the finest barrels of syrup. The results speak for themselves.

Organic

Sustainable farming and organic growing practices are essential ingredients for the successful management of the sugarbush now and for every future generation of syrup makers. We pledge to take the time to do it right now, so we can do it right always.

Packaging

We use only glass bottles as we believe this is the best way to preserve the natural integrity of the syrup. Not only is glass 100% recyclable, but it does not allow oxygen or moisture transmission to occur as it can with plastic or other materials.
